I’ve made the leap… I joined the Social Networking scene when I joined Google+ this week.
So far, there isn’t much to say. I have friends who have posted strange things I don’t need. We’ll see what happens as time passes.

I’ve been reluctant to join a social network, and have managed to stay off Facebook. I was convinced to join Frindster many years ago. (Maybe 10) It seemed like an ok place to hang out online. But then I got a mass message from a friend I hadn’t been in touch with in years. The whole thing just seemed really fake to me. You are friends with people you have never met, and real friendships get boiled down to superficial status updates.
I’m willing to give almost anything a second chance, even the internet.
