I’ve had a bit of a hiatus from this blog for the past couple of months.  Not that I was ever much of a prolific writer over here.

Somethings that I have written about that have advanced, changed, regressed, or remained static since I last saw them:

The Cubs are 46 games into the season, just past the 1/4 mark, so it seems as good a time as any to reflect on the past two months of games.  The season started with the Cubs setting a record for mediocrity, which is odd even for the Cubs.  During the first two weeks of the season the Cubs hit records of 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9, and 10-10 before hitting a four game loosing streak.  Today they sit in 4th place in the Central Division, 7 games out.

A couple of days late, but “better late than never”. As they say. And if there is any place where the cliche is ingrained in it’s essence, well it’s Baseball or nothing.

Wait Til Next Year
